The Grid is a fab plugin, does exactly what I want but… The skin I have chosen shows the caption overlayed on the image, then the alt tag in the Lightbox. Maximising on content for seo purposes.
I’d like to hide the overlay caption on mobile devices.
At the moment the only solution I have found is to have two different grids on the homepage hiding one from mobile and hiding the other from all larger devices.
Is this the best solution or might I be hit by serps for duplicate content? (having two grids with the same content but different skins on the same page)

Yes, you are right it may create an issue of duplicate content in the SEO. Regretfully there is no option in the “The Grid” plugin to hide the overlay caption for mobile. It would require custom development. I would suggest you contact a developer who can assist you with your concern.
