The Grid acts weird after update

Hi guys,

after reading the many posts regarding compatibility issues with Wordpress 5.5 I was wondering if you could also help me out here.

My grid on my homepage “work” is completely broken since today morning and I can’t really reproduce what happened there. There might be an issue with Wordpress 5.5 or an update of the Grid which was automatically updated.

Could you support me by troubleshooting it? I already downgraded to Wordpress 5.4 but nothing changed. I reinstalled The Grid plugin without success. I don’t know what else to do here.

Thanks for reaching out.

I would suggest you downgrading WordPress to version 5.3. 5.3 is the recommended version and the one we currently support. Please also check the plugin version compatibility page if the latest versions of plugins are already available.

If that does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
Give us access as you did for your live site.

thanks for answering so quickly! Definitely didn’t expect that. I just reinstalled a backup from a day ago to be up and running again. It seems to work on Wordpress 5.3.4 and The Grid version 2.7.5 fingers crossed.

If you wish to make further investigation for your own development and compatibility investigation you can do that with the data I provided in the updated secure-note. The site is running in a different folder and a different database so you should be fine doing anything you want.
