Oh yes, with the option to switch the site to an entirely different palet with the click of a button. Would be so convenient to quickly try out different palettes.

Yeah, CSS is where this could be used heavily. I also imagine wrapping a lot of things in conditional logic to show/hide stuff, or do something, based on a global option setting.
A hide option sounds good!
Similarly, I’d love an option to hide the sidebars functionality and menu item in the back-end. I never use it. Could it be pulled from the main plugin and perhaps be offered as a separate addon like the rest of your added functionality?
