The front-end rendering is completely different from Cornerstone

Hello

I’m preparing a major update for my website using the latest version of Theme.co Pro.
Everything is set up on a fully updated server with PHP 8.2.
WordPress is completely up to date, as well as all plugins.
Everything seems fine. I installed the latest “Pro” theme, version 6.6.2.

The issue is that when designing pages in Cornerstone, the front-end rendering is completely messed up!
For your information, I tested without a child theme, and I also removed all small custom CSS snippets that could potentially cause conflicts. So the issue must come from somewhere else.

I’m attaching two concrete examples. How can I fix this issue?

Best Regards

Hello @Hugues,

Thank you for the inquiry.

Have you tried temporarily disabling the plugins? It’s possible that one of the plugins is altering the styles on the frontend. Please clone the site to a staging environment using the Duplicator or WP Migrate DB plugin, then provide the login details in the secure note so we can check the issue.

Clearing the cache might also help – Clear System Cache

Best regards.

Hello @Ismael,

I disabled all plugins -> same problem.
I cleared the Systeme Cache -> same problème.

The site is already in stagging. I give you access in secure note.

Thank you

Hi Hugues,

I have checked and found that in the Global CSS, code is not commented correctly and showing the sytax error. Now it is properly commented and the issue fixed too.

Thanks

Hello, it’s seems ok on the home page,
But my 2nd error example is still here: https://beta.ghara.fr/home-test/
We add border black, it’s ok in cornerstone, but not in front view

Hi Hugues,

Can you please specify which border you are referring to here? Can you please provide a screenshot marked with the issue to recognize the problem. Please remember we don’t offer any investigation or support to the custom coding or related issues.

Thanks

We are not talking about custom code error.
Just a new theme install with native bug

I sent you yesterday an image with 2 examples.
I show you again the problem:

it’s on page https://beta.ghara.fr/home-test/

Hi Hugues,

I have checked the specified page i.e. https://beta.ghara.fr/home-test/, but unable to locate the border problem you described in your previous comment. I checked the page in Cornerstone and in the Browser and didn’t find any differences. Can you please point out the section where you are getting this problem? Any screenshot marked with the section will be helpful to us.

Thanks

I’m very sorry, I was not awake enough this morning and share bad image and bad url… SOrry again.

So the page is https://beta.ghara.fr/
The problem is the second section

Hi Hugues,

I checked the Cornerstone and the browser the borders are Black as expected. I changed the color temporarily and that is also reflected in the browser after clearing the cache.
If you are still seeing something else, I would suggest you check once by clearing all types of cache including the System Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear System Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

The problem is not the border color!
The grid take width 100% in cornerstone and not in front page

The fact is the grid is width auto
Cornerstone show it takes 100%, and that’s no true in frontend. Why this difference?
If I set with 100% to the grid, ok, but cornerstone should show the reality no?

Thank you for the update.

We edited the Column and Grid element and manually set the width to 100%.

Cornerstone: Imgur

Frontend: Imgur

Unfortunately, we are not yet sure why it doesn’t resize automatically. Please make sure to purge the cache before checking the page.

Kind regards.
