The featured image or snippet is not showing on facebook

When I paste a link from my blog to my Facebook page I just get a rectangle with my site name. No image and no snippet.

Please help.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, it was already enabled and the images/snippet still don’t show. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello There,

Please disable the Open Graph setting in X > Launch > Options > Social. Since you have installed Yoast SEO plugin, please utilize the Open Graph of the plugin instead. You will then have to provide the needed image, title and description to properly set up the details. To know more about this feature, please check this out:

Hello,

I have the same issue, however, your solutions in this thread don’t work.
No idea where to go from here. Yoast Open graph turned on. Typed in Snippet to
show in Facebook. Uploaded image. Disables Open Graph under x Launch Options Social.
Still = just the box in facebook showing the Domain name and image from the article.
Please help. Missed client article today because spent hours on this.
P.S. I do not have access to the server to change php settings, as other articles
I’ve read. Need to fix this inside of X theme. Thank you.

Hi There,

Your posts Open Graph looks fine on my end.



When you made changes to your OG, make sure you debug it here, so the Facebook can get your updated post data.
