If I change something on a German page, it automatically overwrites the English page completely in German. I have to make them all over again every time because the English text is gone. Totally annoying.
It sounds like internally it’s using the WPML “Duplicates”. I would unlink the duplicates in the WPML UI, or delete that page and start again in Cornerstone. Duplicates in 6.0.7 works differently where it only copys content, V5 was using this duplicate system. I always added text and images to the English pages manually and never had them translated. That has worked out well over the years. Only since the X-Theme update does this no longer work. Now I’ve filled everything out again. At the moment it’s correct again. But when I am supposed to make the next change, it happens again. I now make a backup every time and then play it back again and repeat the change. Pretty annoying.
Okay I’ve played around with this more. Pages seem to work differently in WPML and I’m trying to determine the settings that trigger this currently. I do not have this issue for any other post type. I am working on a solution to this. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and apologies for this issue.
