The Countdown element date does not match current time

I’m confused with setting the date using the countdown element because it’s not counting down the correct number of days and hours.

I would like the countdown to end March 12, 2020 at 1:30pm EDT. Our server and Wordpress is set to Eastern time. I’ve tried setting it to EDT and GMT and neither is counting down the correct number of days/hours.

Editing to add: The countdown on my desktop shows 9 days 22 hours, whereas on my phone it shows 9 days 15 hours. Both devices are set to the same time zone.

I have checked this on my setup and I was able to replicate the issue. This seems to be a bug for the countdown element.

I have added this to our issue tracker so that our developers will be aware of it.
