Text Typing Not Working

Hi there,

Updated X Theme and it broke my site. Tried a bunch of stuff to get it to work, including disabling cloudflare. So I decided to upgrade to Pro, and I’m trying to go in and swap out the elements to the new ones, but text typing is not working on the old text typing, nor in the new headline.

Also on that note, the classic card is not working either. I thought it was just something that was goofed up from before, but if I add a new classic card, it looks the same.

And is there something that replaces the classic card in pro?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

It’s not the update broke your site, but CloudFlare and RocketLoader. Disabling isn’t enough especially if the cache is already residing and downloaded to your browser.

Please provide your CloudFlare’s login credentials as well. Or for the meantime, please disable the RocketLoader and purge its cache. You may also add this rule to your CF

*profitparamedics.com/x/* *profitparamedics.com/*cornerstone*

And with that rule, disable optimization and cache, that should also disable RocketLoader in the builder.

Thanks!

OK, thanks. I tried adding profitparamedics.com/?cornerstone=1* previously per another post. Also, attempted to add this and may not have done it properly as it did not fix it lol

Hi There,

Under the Speed panel, please turn off the Java and CSS minification

Then under the Caching panel, please Purge Everything, so the cached minified JS and minified CSS on your site will be regenerated.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Hi there, and thanks. Did as directed. Didn’t look different. Cleared browser cache and I could see some of it changed back, but still no dice.

And I’m sorry, is it:

I tried both but no go either way. I just tried the latter which is what the page rules are set to right now.

Thanks!

I’m having the identical issue. And I’m not sure that disabling two or more of the most sought-after features of Cloudflare is really a solution anyway.

@btobe, It should be okay now. I change your page rules to the correct one. Please add them as provided

@bass340, please start a new thread about this issue and provide your site’s URL and admin login credentials in a secure note. And your CF credentials too. About those features, X, Pro, and cornerstone CSS and javascripts are already minified so minifying it again caused issues. Perhaps, you can install another plugin just to minify it while excluding X, Pro, and cornerstone. Unfortunately, you can’t exclude any in CF.

Thanks!
