Text shows as shortcodes

In the essential grid listing, a recent blog listing shows a line of shortcode instead of the first line of text.
In WPML the full text is displayed only as shortcodes.
The blog page itself looks fine.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

Would you mind providing your site’s URL? Looks like this is your first post and there is no link to check for

Are you using essential grid’s skin builder to display the excerpt layer? Or the content is added as custom field or meta?

If it’s the excerpt layer, please try adding an excerpt to your post manually. Please check this article http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/excerpt/

It may be displaying the actual raw content of the post instead of the excerpt. So you may need to choose your layer source to excerpt instead of post content.

Thanks!
