Text shadow not showing over video background

I am trying to add a headline with graphic set to on and a png image over a video background. When being live edited on the header builder it looks ok (first image, graphic, text and image show the shadow effect), but once I select preview page the text part of the headline object do not show the text shadow. (second image, graphic and image ok, text no shadow)

I could fix this making the headline object an image but then I lose the ability to edit the text easily.

Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Be aware that I am doing this on a localhost via wamp, in case this is somehow relevant.

Hey Rene,

I’ve tested your claim in my test site and I couldn’t replicate it. The text shadow works both in the builder and in the live page.

I believe there is something overriding text shadows in your site. It could could come either from a 3rd party or a custom code.

With that said, please perform all the related troubleshooting steps listed below.

1. TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
3. THEME UPDATE
4. CHILD THEME
5. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION

If none of that helps, please move your dev site online and give us the URL of the page having the issue. Please also give us the following information in a Secure Note.

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin level username and password

If you can’t move your site online, regretfully, we cannot provide help for this case as we need to see your exact setup.

Thank you for the quick reply @christian.

It must’ve been a corrupted element or something because I recreated the video background with the headline and image on a temporary header and it worked, so I just copy/pasted this container on the original header bar and it displays fine now.
