Have an issue here where text fills a column when on larger screen but when the screen is reduced slightly the text squishes onto one side as in the picture below;

Thanks for the very detailed post information.
You are experiencing this issue because you have set to have two columns (1/4 + 3/4) in desktop and medium screens.
Please edit your page and check your row layout. Make sure that you only have one column in each respective screen sizes.
