Text links break header

Hi, I have a problem in Pro where if I put a link into a text field (headline or text) then the whole header loses all its content and I have to start building the header all over again. This has been very disruptive and I had to start all over again several times before I worked out that it was the text link that was causing the problem.

Thanks for writing in! Did you write the link code correctly? It should be like this:
<a href="#" title="My Link">Short and Sweet Headlines are Best!</a>

Would you mind sharing the contents of the text element or headline element?

Hi,

I have the same problem with both headers and footers.
When I create a Text element with one single link (let say “Read our <a href="/foo.bar/">terms of service</a>”) and I save, the whole header (or footer) becomes empty.

This seems a strange issue! which is not happening in our end. Can you please give access to your site so that we can have a look.
Before that please check for any plugin or script conflict in your site. Just disable all third-party plugins and remove any custom JS if you have. Let us know if that works.
If that doesn’t help, Please create a new ticket and post your login details with website URL in a secure note so that we can have a look.
