Text disappears after new update!

Hi,

I’m creating a new portfolio item, and after using a text element, writing for 10 minutes, and then go to create a new headline below - the text in the text element disappears!

If I look in the Layout tab, I can see that there is 3 text elements (see image), but as you can see, only the last one is visible, and if I inspect the text in the first 2 text elements - they’re empty.

Maybe it’s a caching issue, but as Pro 3.0 also seems to have a lot of issues with caching plugins, I won’t try.

I’m sorry you’re running into this. Would you be ok if I logged into your site to check this out first hand? You can add login credentials in a secure note.

I’ve seen this mentioned one other time, but regretfully even on that site I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue or identify a root cause. I’d really like to be able to get to the bottom of this, and if needed make any changes in Pro that we need to for a point release.

Sure, you can. I tried to reproduce the issue, and I found out that it happens when I use a text element, write some text within it, and then - if I go above the text element and press the headline element, the text below disappears.

Thank you so much! By testing on your site, and from your description of the problem I was able to identify the bug in Pro and code a fix included in version 3.0.2 which we just released. I’ve updated your site for you, so you should no longer have this problem.
