Text converting to emoticons

Hello, i’m not sure why this is happening - but my text when I type : ) is turing into the emoji :slight_smile: How do i get it so my text doesn’t change?

Hey @fxground,

That feature is not coming from our themes nor the plugins we bundle. That is coming from WordPress. You can learn how to disable that in this 3rd party article https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/disable-emojis-wordpress/

If none of the suggestions help, please consider consulting with a developer because this is not a theme issue.
