Text component pop-out arrow missing

I finally recorded a video of this UI problem.

1. Both these text elements are the same component.
2. The element lower down shows the pop-out arrow for the editor
3. The one at the top has now arrow, as the image within the content seems to obscure it
4. These are both 6.x components, the same thing, but one with an image and the lower down one without

The only way to get back into the top element is to keep removing content (such as the image), clicking elsewhere, and then coming back.

Hi Bill,

It seems that you are using the Classic Text element which has the arrow to popup the Editor. But in the case of Heading, you might be using the Headline or any V2 element which does not have that option.

Anyway, both of these are components (the same component) made using 6.x This is the second time I’ve reported this and the second time you’ve mistakenly told me it’s a classic element.

When the Rich Text Format is turned OFF in the builder preference, the arrow is there:

I think it could be because the first that displays in that text area is the image. You can try removing the image and trying pure text content only or at least the image only displays after a paragraph of text, that would be great.

Are you saying this is a known bug and will get fixed? Your workaround is all fine, but it doesn’t resolve the underlying issue.
