Text changes take forever! Update 1 letter at a time!

Hello,

I’ve decided to try Pro theme again after not using it for a while. I notice that whenever I try to add text in a paragraph, it takes an exceedingly long time to update. If I write the text in the text block, it will only appear in the preview editor 1 letter at a time. A paragraph may take 2-3 minutes to appear.

This is clearly a bug but I’m not sure why this is happening. Any help would be much appreciated!!
