Text Box HTML Compressed

Hello,

On behalf of a few of our clients, we wanted to know if there is a solution for the following:

  • Prevent the HTML text boxes from compressing the text
  • Adding the “add media” button back within the HTML viewer

The following concern from the clients are below:

"We recently updated to the latest version of Cornerstone and it appears the “add media” button has been removed for when you are editing a text box in HTML. Is there a way to add this back?

I see you can add media in the preview version of the text editor, but when you switch back to HTML, it compresses your HTML into one big paragraph (which is not user friendly at all). "

Hi there,

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. At the moment we don’t plan to add toolbar buttons under the HTML tab, but we’re open to reconsidering it if more feedback is received. The text being compressed is an issue we’re aware about and will be investigating for the next major update.
