Text box align right

Page: http://wordpress-100914-341820.cloudwaysapps.com/service-times/

On the page above, I’ve used the appropriate setting in the text element to align the text block to the right, then I set a max width of 750px to the text block, yet the text is aligned and the text block sits in the middle of the container. Is this by design? If so, how can i get the text box and text aligned to the right?

Hi there,

My apologies but I didn’t quite get the issue that you have mentioned.

When I have checked your site, the textbox with the Ipsum text are correctly aligned to the right.

Would you mind providing screenshots of the issue that you have mentioned so that we could understand it better?

Thank you.

Hey Jade,

The lorem ipsum text block under “main service” is properly aligned to the right. However, it isn’t aligned to the right side of the container but rather to the left.

Howdy @Multiplier,

Applying a text-align setting to an element will align the text for you, but it will not physically move the element from one side to another. The headline you have is visually aligned to the right but is actually fullwidth. Since you’ve put a max-width on the text, you’re seeing how the element itself is left aligned (as all elements are by default). If you wanted to push the text to the right side of the page with this max-width applied, you would also need to add a margin-left value of auto, which will force the entire block to the other side of the screen. If you’re using Pro’s v2 Elements in the Content Builder, there is a Margin control for the Text Element, which you can set this value individually, or if you are using our “Classic” Text Element, you can apply an inline style of margin-left: auto; to achieve the same look.

Hopefully that helps to point you in the right direction, cheers!
