Does Pro theme have these sort of effect built-in or do we have to custom code them?

Regretfully, the transitions you showed us are not available in Pro. Animations though are at the back of our developers’ mind so maybe in the future, we’ll see animations added in Pro.

We cannot recommend specific third party tools to achieve what you’re looking for, but there are numerous JS libraries that you could try.
If you’re looking to get feedback from other users, you could try posting in our peer forum or there are some user run Facebook groups you could try posting in.
