Templates files in child theme not working

Hey,
I’ve modified some of the template files in the woocommerce plugin. Now I want to add those files in the child theme but it is not taking up the files from child theme.
My woocommerce file path is: /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/content-product.php
The child theme path is: /wp-content/themes/pro-child/woocommerce/templates/content-product.php

Please help me why it is not working properly

Hi Ketan,

The files should be directly under the woocommerce folder in your child theme, not in the woocommerce > template.

Hi @tristup, It didn’t work for me. After plugin update I lost my changes whereas the template files are present in the Child theme.
I’ve tried with some other plugin template files too. But none of them is working. I don’t what is wrong here. Either cache or the procedure of reading the files from child theme.
Please help me as soon as possible.

The WooCommerce template file should work on the specified path, there might be some other reason behind your problem. Please remember that customization is beyond the scope of Theme Support, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.
