Templated Pages Breaking

Hi,

I have created a template for a series of pages on one of my sites and I seems to be having some issues with the pages. I see random broken code in place of the sidebar I created, but when I open the page in the editor the issue is not there. I then save the page and the issue is gone from the front end.

Please help as I will have 200 something pages made from this template and I can’t go over them over and over resaving.

Pro 2.36 is now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If updating to the latest version does not help, then there must be something in one of your templates. Please provide us access to your site so that we can investigate the issue further.

Hi,

I tried updating to the new version of Pro the day after it was released but when I tried to load templates after the update I experienced issues, no templates would apply to a new page. I tried clearing all my caches, but still experienced the issue. I will give it a try again.

I just did the update and re-saved the page and the issue seems to be resolved. I did experience it reappearing after some time on some pages though, so I will be sure to re-post if that happens.

Hey Matt,

I saw the base64 issue in your page. I then created a test page and loaded your International Workers template and I couldn’t replicate the issue so after that, I simply re-saved your djv page and it was fixed. It looks like there’s an intermittent glitch in both the file and database server to cause a malformed page builder data.

If this happens again, please try re-saving your page. I’d also recommend that you create a copy of your in a different web host to see if this issue will persist. I haven’t experienced this issue in all my test sites so non-standard server configurations and / or limitations could play a role on this.
