I saved a template from another one of my sites that I see in the template library.
However, when I try to insert it in one of my pages, it does not show in the list. 
Why isn’t it in the list to be inserted?

Your page template is in the list. It could be that you imported the template in a new tab and the builder wasn’t reloaded. Please note that the builder needs to be reloaded when you import a new template.
