Template Manager: Using Element Defaults

Hi there,
I learned that I set Element Defaults in the Template Manager, which is really cool:

Two questions on this one:

1. When a default style is applied, will each inserted button still receive extra inline CSS based on the elements ID? Say I have 30 buttons across my page and have been inserted with Element Default, will the CSS rules be repeated once or 30 times?

2. Are you guys planning to extend the Template Manager to with a Class Based Style Manager? Imagine you could style your button in this one place and then apply the corresponding class to all 30 buttons across the page! Wouldn’t that be great? I beliebe you could make a huge difference here compared to Elementor…

Hello Martin,

Thanks for writing in!

1.) Once your save a preset and set it as the default style for the element, once you insert a new element, it will have the content and all the style settings including the custom inline css that you may have added.

2.) Thanks for the feedback. This could be a great addition to the preset indeed. We’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.
