Hi - I’m trying to figure out why when choosing the template ‘Blank - Container | Header, Footer’ does not show the featured image but the Default Template does? I’ve tried various css options but nothing seems to show the featured image for this template. Searched the forums but do not see this particular issue or question.

All Blank templates do not display the Featured Image. That is because they’re designed to be like a blank canvas so you could design and build per your needs.

Since the any of the Blank page template are designed to be like a blank canvas, you may add the featured image via a shortcode. You would need to install this 3rd party plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/featured-image/. You can insert the featured image shortcode anywhere you like it to appear in the page.
