Tabs not hiding during breakpoints

No matter what I do, clear browser and theme co cache, hide and unhide tabs, login and out, close Chrome etc I cannot get it to work. infact, works fine in preview on the backend but not on the site as a regular user.

Any idea what could be causing this?

It could be something that is not related to a caching issue but an issue with the setup of the element. Would you mind providing the URL of the site in question where the tabs are so that we can check and provide you some solution?

Hi Daniel,

May I know to which breakpoint should it hide? I checked the page and there is no configured option for that. They are turned off

Then I hide it and it works too. Please provide further information.

Hi Rad,

I’m trying to hide each tab when needed on all breakpoints. It works on the preview but not on the user side of things.

I checked the page and did few testing on my end to hide the accordion tabs that’s there on the page. In hide during breakpoint I selected desktop, mobile and all devices to hide the tab and changes are reflecting on the front end and in preview area. In my testing I noticed that the necessary selection was not there already. Please make the necessary selection to hide the element as per your requirement.

You’re testing the completely wrong area of the site. It’s not the accordions but tabs… sorry I wasn’t clear.

It’s a global block imported into the status page. See video…

Thanks for updating the thread.

I am sorry for the confusion. I can now confirm the issue on the website. In my local dev setup, I have also tested the hide during breakpoint of tabs element in global block and added the same to a page. I am able to replicate the problem in my setup too.

I am taking adding this into our internal issue tracker for our developer to take a look. At this moment I am not in a position to share ETA but I can assure you that the same will be looked at by our developers.

I am having a very similar issue with global blocks not hiding during breakpoints. I have three sections in this GB, 1 should be visible only at max and minimum breakpoints. The other two for all points between. But that is not the behavior that it exhibits.

Hi @rdylina,

I couldn’t find any tab from your provided page, but I did see the grid that are added as a global block. This is added to our issue tracker, for the meantime, please use Hide options within the row or section where the global block is added instead to the section within the global block.
