Tab Element Not Functioning Correctly on Mobile After Changing Page Name

Hi there,

I’m having an issue with the Tabs element in the Pro Theme and was hoping you could help me troubleshoot.

I built out a new page using the Tabs element and temporarily named it “Our Efforts 2” so it wouldn’t appear live while I was still working on it. In this state, everything worked correctly including all mobile tab interactions.

However, when I renamed the page to “Our Efforts,” the tabs stopped functioning properly on mobile only. Specifically:

  • Tapping through the tabs doesn’t display the correct content…
  • Multiple tabs appear highlighted as “active” at the same time.
  • Desktop displays and behavior still work fine.

Because the page was broken in this state, I had to revert it back to the temporary name ( Our Efforts 2” ) so the page would function properly again.

I’m not sure if there’s a way for you to diagnose the issue even though the problem only happens when the page is named “Our Efforts” .

Hi Jennine,

I have checked the page on my Android device, and it is working fine, which might be due to the fact that you reverted the page name. I would suggest you please copy your live site to a staging server and rename the page and share the details for further investigation. I would also suggest you share a screen-casting video to understand the steps to replicate the problem.
