Switching to Pro made all my page titles and landmark headers disappear

Hi after switching to Pro all my page titles for Portfolio, Blog, Shop, Cart have disappeared. Support told me to follow this thread and insert the code into my functions.php file and add a text element and insert the shortcode for the landmark [awesome_landmark]. I have done that and it looks super weird and too big on the pages. The font is huge and it doesn’t look right and it it so centered it puts one word of text on each line. I am having such trouble with this and I am thinking I would rather just go back to the regular X theme so I don’t have to worry about this nightmare of losing every single page title. I have tried everything possible in terms of suggestions for a shortcode so I don’t have to manually put a new page title header on every single page. For the portfolio page, I can’t recreate the sorting feature in pro header builder so that feature is pretty useless to me with Pro because it removed that sort function when it removed the titles. Here is a screen shot of the portfolio page when I inserted the shortcode [awesome landmark].

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Andrea,

Please add back the bar in your custom header and the [awesome landmark] shortcode in a text element. The bar container must be width enough to display the landmark title.

  • You must set the flex layout and self flex like this:

  • And then the text element must have a 100% width;

Hi thanks for the reply. That did help with the page title being wider which is great. Any advice how to make the filter button centered and is there a way to change the font size? Here is a screen shot. Thanks

Hi there,

Please try this code in X > Theme Options > CSS:

ul.option-set {
    text-align: center;
    margin: 5px 0;
}
