I wish to have a section which I enabe/disbale sometimes. For example, special offers. Sometimes I wish to remove that section temporarily but then bring it back in the future but without the hassle of creating it all again.
My first thought is to ‘hide based on width’ and switch them all off to hide it, but is there a better way?

There are several helper classes in Cornerstone you could use to hide content.
Simply add one of the following CSS classes to the relevant section.
invisible - hides the element visually, but maintains it’s position
visually-hidden - hides the element from sight without removing it from screen readers or spiders
