Support for Guttenburg Blocks and WooCommerce Product Blocks

Hi Themeco,

Are Wordpress native Guttenburg Blocks and WooCommerce Product Blocks supported by X and Pro? Is there an element that can be used to add these in the builders?

Thanks for writing in!

Please be informed that the Guttenburg Blocks and WooCommerce Product Blocks works with X and Pro theme. These blocks can only be added inside Gutenberg which is the default WP editor. You cannot add these blocks inside Cornerstone or Pro editor.

Then go on to say “You cannot add these blocks inside Cornerstone or Pro editor”, which contradicts the first statement.

Please confirm what you mean.

Let me explain the case. The X and Pro themes do support Gutenberg. That means, if you decide to create a page using Gutenberg, you can do it with no problem. The Woocommerce Blocks also are part of Gutenberg, and you can use them there.

Now, we have our page builder called Cornerstone in X and the Pro Editor in Pro. It is not part of Gutenberg and a completely different page builder. You can use our page builder to start creating a page.

Once you decide that you want to create the page using our builder, you can not use Gutenberg anymore; there is no mix, and match feature as our builder is a completely different product.

So at the time that you create a page, you can decide whether you want to use our builder or the Gutenberg, but after you decide, you can not go back and forth between the builders on that particular page, and you need to stick with the choice you had.
