Support 3rd party plugin: snapppt

Hey there,

Could you guys take a look for this third party plugin: snapppt?
It’s a ‘shop the look’ instagram plugin. It does work out of the box with the theme but the theme kinda breaks. So the header and footer strangely goes to the left.

It’s a free plugin so you guys can just test it out.

The plugin works as an Instagram feed where you can put placemarkers with a text+link to a product (or something else). Kinda simple, but it’s pretty neat and working.

Would be nice if we can have this working. We could provide our site with the plugin privately if you guys want to take a closer look.

The conflict is with the max class.

You need to add this CSS in Appearance > Theme Options > Global CSS.

.max {
    margin: auto !important;
}

I’m not sure what is the impact of that to the plugin. Please use it at your own risk.

I’ll add this to the report. Please note that we could not promise that this conflict will be solved. Also contact the plugin developer maybe they can update their the max class to make it unique.

Thank you. In our turn, we also informed our development team regarding this, but unfortunately, the max class is a crucial part of the theme and we can not change without a huge refactor of the code in the theme regarding the backward compatibility, so the change needs to be done from the plugin side.
