Superfly Menu 5.0.18

  1. I have followed your directions to Activate Superfly. I entered all of my information and left the “required” purchased code blank and clicked on save changes. The screen goes to bouncing lines, but then I do not get any indication that it has been activated and it returns to the screen with my information filled out.

I also tried putting my PRO license in the purchase code area, but it came back and said invalid license.

  1. I have it set to display the mobile hamburger starting at 1200px to get it to show on all device sizes. The mobile hamburger is positioned way over to the far left corner - not where the menu is normally located. The menu I am using with Superfly is clicked on as the primary menu and the regular Pro/WordPress menu is displayed in the regular menu position and the Superfly mobile hamburger is in the left corner. Is this because the activate did not work? Or, is this another issue.

I need to get this fixed asap - so please provide detailed instruction on how to correct my issues.

Update: I installed Superfly Menu through PRO. When I went to activate it through PRO it got an error. But then I went to the plug-ins and Superfly was installed, but not active. I have activated it in the plug-in area and began my set-up work. I just looked in the PRO area and Superfly is listed as if it is not installed. I clicked install and it installed a second copy of Superfly (not active). I deleted the second installation. This seems to be royally messed up! I have done a fair amount of styling to the installed Superfly plug-in, I am hopeful this can be resolved without me needing to do everything again.

Hey There,

Please try removing Superfly and then installing it again through our Pro Extension section. This problem has been resolved.

This only fixed the issue of it not activating through the Pro Extension area. The two primary issues are NOT resolved - here they are again:

Hey There,

About the activation: You can’t activate Superfly. There is some functionality which might not be available with our bundled plugins which would require you to purchase a license directly with Superfly but this is in the most cases related to templates and other extensions of the plugin that are not core functionality, but you will receive automatic updates via our Pro/X Validation.

Regarding the placement of the burger menu. On default the Superfly burger is positions absolute on the right or left upper corner for maximum visibility. There is no easy way to include it into the native menu items as it’s meant as a replacement for the default menu not an addition. I can help you with positioning the burger with some custom css or by adding the margin to the plugin settings if you’d like to proceed. Let me know.

Thank you for your response. Your documentation says to activate the menu. If we cannot activate the menu, this makes the process very confusing. When I unclick the menu that I am using with Superfly from the primary menu the header says Assign a Menu - how do I make that go away? If you could provide some recommendations for positioning the Superfly menu that would be helpful.

Hello @jvedder,

Please go to Appearance > Menus and create an empty menu. Once you have created it, assign it as your Primary menu so that “Assign a Menu” will no longer display. For more details about the SuperFly menu, please check out the official documentation here:

Best Regards.
