What’s the best way to make items resize while viewed on mobile so the width of the sections are viewable. I understand how to remote items but not sure what suggestions or CSS can be offered up to optimize mobile view.

Settings a maximum width of at least 100% in the element settings will force the item to have the same width of the section container.
If this does not apply to your page elements, please give further clarifications and maybe a video screencast of your page so that we can clearly understand your issue.
