Suggestions for a simple Login / Page restrictions plug-in

Hi, I was hoping you might be able to suggest a compatible Login / Page restriction plug-in.

I just need a simple version that allows my client/admin to lock one page behind a login. All the plug-ins I have been researching are overly complex for our needs. While they all look great they are structured with collecting membership and giving users an abundance of features. We just don’t need that.

The current system my client uses asks professionals, when they first attempt to access page, to enter their own name and password, and request approval. At that point the administrator would send approval or not. I am open to other options. The administrator just needs to be able to approve access.

I hope that’s clear enough and not too confusing.

Any help would be appreciated.
