Suddenly not validated on site, error when entering key says "Could not establish connection. Please ensure your firewall is not blocking requests to theme.co"

I’ve been using this theme for quite some time and now I’m suddenly not validated on my main site (no URL changes for installation). I also can’t validate because I’m getting the error message in the title. I’ve tried the steps outlined in the other support tickets and have no results, it seems nothing is blocked on my end. Assistance please?

Hi Erik,

Please check this article for troubleshooting guide. Go through the guide, for each error, there is a steps to do to fix it.

If you are still having validation issues, do you have differences in the subfolder path of the URL? The previous validation system wasn’t properly validating that the subfolder path stayed the same. This means you may have lost validation if you moved your site to a different path on the same domain.

  1. Double check that your license URL and Site URL match. The most effective way would be saving your site URL as blank, then entering the validation code again in your WordPress dashboard.
