Suddenly lost all my responsive work - URGENT

Hi guys,

Sorry but this is an urgent one. I have a meeting with a client in 3 hours and the page I’ve been working all night on has suddenly lost all the mobile responsive work I did.

https://healthysites.com.au

I have a short video I took to show you what is happening. I can’t work out what has happened. When I’m working on the page in cornerstone it all looks fine. but when I work on the header it almost looks like it did 6 hours ago. I’ve attached a screen shot showing both…and I will add a video in the secure section.

Can you shed some light on this please?

Darren.

Hey @DesignMunky,

Thanks for writing in! Please temporarily disable all your optimizing and caching plugins. You may also need to purge your site cache since you are using SiteGround.

Best Regards.

Hi Reunel,

Yes, I tried all that. I just tried it all again and no change. I noticed Wordpress just released another update again only a day after their last so thought it might be something at their end…but am still getting the same results.

Regards,
Darren.

Hello Darren,

It seems that there is an issue of broken HTML issue I would suggest you go to your page delete the “Web work slider” section and recheck it again. Please have a look at the screenshot in the secure note.

Thanks

Hey Prakesh,

Awesome, that did the trick - thanks!

Can you explain please how you worked out that it was the webwork slider section that was causing the problem? I want to make sure I know how to look for this if it happens again.

Thanks,
Darren.

Hey Darren,

It is a common technique if there is some broken styling, its either a cache issue or a broken HTML code.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Mark,

But how did you find the broken HTML on that page? Through inspect on the front end? Or was it in the builder?

Regards,
Darren.

Hello Darren,

When everything checks out and the issue still remains, in most cases, we have to log in and manually check each and every element added to the page in the builder. That is the only way to find where the broken HTML code was added.

Cheers.
