I am looking for the css to revise. I get a white overlay when I hover over post titles or in page menu items. Can you assist me with where I would find the properties to modify. Thank you.

Hi there,
The one you have mentioned on the homepage is a link from navigation menu widget. The selector of your CSS code will be:
.widget_nav_menu a:hover {
/*YOUR CSS CODE HERE*/
}
I have found this selector using the Google Chrome Developer Toolbar. For more information:
Hope it helps.
