Stuttering Scroll on All Pages

Hello,

I’m seeing a stuttering scroll action on pretty much every page of my site. It doesn’t seem to be tied to what’s on the page. Here’s an example.

I built these pages many years ago, so most of the structure I see in Cornerstone is now “Classic Row”; “Classic Column” etc. Is it possible that is causing the issue?

I see the issue both on the front end and in the Cornerstone builder when I have the page open.

Is there a global setting where I can resolve this?

Just brought all the back end up to date:
Wordpress 6.8.2
Pro theme 6.7.2 (with child theme)

Thanks!

Hello @dm3,

Thanks for the very detailed post information. I have inspected your page and I found out that you have set a height to the Bar element in your custom header and custom footer. Please set it to auto and if you need a certain height, use the top and bottom padding.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Thanks for that. I’ve just set the height to Auto on the Bar element in the header, deleted the cache, did a hard refresh on the front end, and I do still see the stuttering scroll on that page and others, unfortunately.

Any other indications of what it might be?

Hi @dm3,

I have checked your website and found that the Double Scrollbar is the reason behind your problem. The double scrollbar appears if some of the elements are taller or similar in height to their container. Here, in your case, the Bar Content of the Footer is set with 10em height. I would suggest you set it to auto and check if that resolves your problem.

If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

That did the trick. Thanks very much!

Hi @dm,
