Hey. The featured image does go all the way to the edge of the screen. I’ve been experimenting with right-and-left side sidebars, and wish to know how to make the featured image flush, no white space.

That is not possible because the featured image is contained.
Custom development is required to achieve what you need. Regretfully, that would be outside the scope of our support as the customization would be quite involved.
