Strange behavior of column

Please check out the text column underneath the headline “Advent Calendar 2020” on that page: www.stria.tech.
The text is in a row with a 1-column layout, and the column has padding-right set to 33%. (The headline above is in its own row, the column there has no right-padding). When you reduce the zoom level on your browser (make things look smaller), then at 50% zoom level, the column becomes suddelny very narrow. Observed in Chrome and in Firefox, no other browser tested.
This is probably not a “relavent” bug, but I thought I let you know. See screenshot for the effect:
