Hi there. My website evanarcherd.com has sticky scrolling. The desktop version sticks a little and the mobile version sticks a lot.
Hello @Lorie,
Thanks for writing to us.
It appears there’s a mixed content issue on the site. This usually happens when some URLs weren’t fully updated during the move from staging to production or from HTTP to HTTPS. As a result, some JS and CSS files are being blocked from loading because they’re being requested over an insecure (HTTP) connection. You can also try out this article on how to update the URLs when you are moving the sites.
Hope it helps
Thanks
Thank you for the reply. I think I’ve fixed that issue, but the sticky scrolling is still an issue - especially on mobile. When you pull up a page on mobile - it takes 10 seconds or more before it will let you scroll. Any ideas? I’ve never encountered this before.
Hey @Lorie,
Regretfully, we cannot check the site at the moment. It seems that the given WP details do not work for us. Would you mind sending the correct WP Access so that we can inspect your site settings?
By the way, try setting the Bar element Height to “Auto” and test the site again.
Thanks.
I don’t see a spot here to leave a secure note.
Hey @Lorie,
The given WP access has limited privileges.
- See the screenshot below
Please change the role to “Administrator” so we can inspect your sticky header settings.
Cheers.
Sorry about that. Done.
I should mention that it won’t scroll from the top or bottom of the page until maybe 10 seconds has passed
Hello @Lorie,
I modified your Global custom CSS into this:
html, body {
width: 100%;
overflow-x: visible;
}
I also temporarily deactivated your Optimize and Cache plugins. Please use private browsing mode or Incognito mode and test your home page again.
Best Regards.
