Sticky header with anchor links on page

Hi,

I’m using the sticky pro header and I link to some page elements, like a specific headline, from page /A/ to page /B/ for example. So it’s not a one pager website.

The problem is that it does not take into account the sticky header. Like this:

It should be like this:

Is there an easy way to fix this?

(I have updated the theme to the latest version.)

Hi @djinnie,

I checked your site but could not find the link and that section to test.

Please try adding your id to the section element and make sure to add a fixed height to your bar.

Thanks

Hi,

That ‘height’ function is just the height of the bar right? It does not have any impact on the situation when I’m trying to link to a certain part of my web page, right?

See the link in secured note for a specific part link.

Hello @djinnie,

By default the height of the bar will not affect with the anchored section. The reference of the of the anchor section is the topmost of the browser window which is why it displays close to the browser window line.

I would highly recommend that you place the ID in the section and not in the column or a text element. Width section, you can add padding which will give you enough control of the spaces of the contents inside it.

Hope this helps.
