Sticky header top margin/padding

Hello,

I just created a header for my new webshop. In contains 3 bars, all with multiple containers and it’s all sticky. When I check it out and scroll, the second bar has some space above it, causing the bar to float in the middle of the page instead of nicely under the top bar.

Could you please check it out and show me how to fix this?

In case you need login credentials, I left it in a secure note.

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in and sorry you’re having this issue, this is actually a known bug on PRO. We’ve added this to our issue tracker so it can be considered for future development. I advise that you merge all your desktop sticky bar into one bar. The idea is to have only one sticky bar.

Have a great day,
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply! I’ll try that out and hope it’ll be fixed next update.

Or am I just building it the wrong way?

If I merge it all to one sticky bar, I can’t define the content length per screen size. How would I solve that?

Hi there,

Would you please give us a concrete example of the problem with 1 sticky bar so that we can check and see if we can be of a help?

Thank you.

I am rebuilding it as we speak. It looks pretty great the I am building it. Will share a link when I’m done. So far no issues :).

So I rebuild the header with 3 bars. 1 topbar non-sticky, second and third bar are sticky.

Overall looks great.

Each bar contains content specified for every screensize. I have the middle bar on content length 100%. This works great for any screensize except 1200px and up. The site width is 1350, on my iMac it looks awefull when the header is 100% width. To make it look better a added a margin of 35em on the left of the logo and 35em on the right of the account button.

I suppose this isn’t the best way so solve my problem but I can live with it.

If you have suggestion on how to make it more efficient, i’d like to hear it. You are also allowed to checkout the back end. Even try some things out. It just a test site. Posted credentials in secure note.

Thanks!

PS: If you have no further comments about the way it’s build, my question is answered and the thread can be closed.

Hi there,

Glad it’s okay now, I checked and it’s okay and the transition is not jumping. And thanks for sharing

Cheers!
