Sticky header on top of content above masthead

Hi!

First of all, absolutely love X, it’s the best theme out there! 2 problems I have though:
1: I’m trying to get a sticky header above the content (a transparent header), above the masthead, so it sticks to the top of page when I scroll past the initial position of the header.
I’ll leave a link to the webpage, just so you can see what I’m talking about.
At the moment, there’s a white space underneath the logo (I guess that’s the header area), I want to get rid of that and make it that the Slider Revolution is directly underneath the video playing on startup, and the logo on top of that.
2: In Slider Revolution, in the VideoSlider, I have this gradient that I’m trying to get rid of but can’t. How can I do this?

I hope you can help me.

All the best
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

I would like to check but the login provided doesn’t seem to work.

Kindly check again and let us know.

Thanks

Hey Paul
Changed the password. Changed it in the secure note as well.
Cheers

Hi Benjamin,

Unfortunately it still does not work.

Please review it.

Thanks!

Very weird.
I reviewed it and it should be working now.

Hi there,

Could you try disabling the reCaptcha? It’s redirecting me over and over and can’t log in. I can’t check if the credentials are correct.

Thanks!

Hi!

I couldn’t disable the recaptcha. I didn’t install the website myself (it’s for a client)
I did however install Google’s Invisible ReCaptcha. Maybe this will work.
If it doesn’t, do you know how I can disable the ReCaptcha? Because I couldn’t find it anywhere…

Many thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you for getting back to us, I could finally access the website dashboard. After checking the current view I see that you added the Video slider to the Above Masyhead position in the homepage:

I suggest that you add the Slider below the masthead, that way you will have the header sticky with the logo and the video below that.

We do not have any additional option to add extra headers in X.

Thank you.

Hi!

It’s not exactly what I’d like, but that’s fine. I do have a white space on top of the page.
Can I make that go away?

Thanks!

Hi There,

Please also add this custom CSS:

.home .masthead.masthead-inline {
    position: absolute;
    width: 100%;
}

Let us know how it goes!

Hi!

I added the CSS, which worked like a charm!
I then thought to maybe add the slider above masthead again, and that actually gave me the effect I wanted to create.
Thank you so much for your help, you guys are amazing!
By the way, I still had that gradient, but I made a new slide, so I could get rid of that and that worked too.

Thank you so so much!
Benjamin
