Sticky header - hide initially

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I have two bars in my header. I’d like the second bar to appear after scrolling past the email field on the homepage (hide initially). I’d rather not assign a trigger selector since I want to use the same bar for other pages.

Currently, the bar appears only when scrolling to the top. How can I set it to hide initially, then appear further down the page?

Hello @WaggingLabs,

Thanks for writing in!

Please be informed that there is an option in your bar settings to hide the bar initially. You also have an option when you want to trigger the display of the bar.

The trigger selector can be used to display sticky bar when the user reaches a certain section upon scrolling the page. The Trigger offset on the other hand can be used to display the sticky bar as soon as you scroll down more than 250 pixels.

Hope this helps.

Hello — I tried those settings and was able to hide the bar until I scrolled the specified amount of pixels.

However, second bar sits on top of my first bar. I’d like it to be beneath the first bar and hide initially. Is this possible?

I also tried to replicate settings to just get the two sticky bars as in this video from another post, but it didn’t work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIr_HloR45g&feature=youtu.be I tried disabling all plugins and my theme is up to date (although WP core is still on 4.9.x)

thanks for your help

Hi @WaggingLabs,

I went ahead and edited your header. I change the position from relative to absolute and I added a 100px top margin.
The settings were shown in the image below:

Please check your header now.
