I am using the latest release of Pro and followed your video https://youtu.be/dAsUheY0Idw but I cannot find the section for fixed position? Also how do you add a slider? sounds stupid but I can find it in elements.

In the reference video, my colleague is using a direct DIV with no section container. In a DIV element, you can check the fixed position.
To add a slider, just search for the slider in the element.

thanks. I have sorted the Div issue but other extensions such as sliders, essential grid etc dont seem to be showing on the elements list?. I will reinstal and make sure I have the latest version again

The slider element should be available, if that is not please check Cornerstone > Settings > Permissions > Elements if that is already enabled or not. If not please select and Update it to get the elements in Cornerstone. If that is already enabled, but you are not getting it, please install the latest version of the theme and let us know if that doe not help.
Regarding the Essential Grid plugin, you need to install and activate it from Pro/X > Validation > Extensions.
