Sticky Bar not sticky

Hello,

After the latest theme update, my sticky navbar is no longer sticky. I want it to persist as I scroll down the page. Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks

Hello Paul,

Thanks for writing in!

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches since you are using WP Rocket so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

And if you are using CloudFlare, right after your updates, kindly log in to your CloudFlare account and purge your site cache. You also need to regenerate the minified CSS and JS files in CloudFlare.

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

Hi,

Tried that, still not working. Sending you a secure note! Thanks

Hey Paul,

When your logged in, the header bar is working fine. It’s only when you’ve logged out that the issue happens. This just means that the CDN is server old files and that conflicts with the latest updated theme files.

I know you already tried clearing cache but please do it once again and also disable the combining of JS files in your site into one minified JS file. Looking at the browser console, I see there’s a Javascript conflict that’s preventing the sticky bar Javascript from working. You can see that it comes from Cloudflare.

We can do nothing for this case other than to suggest that you ask Cloudflare support to exclude all resources under the pro theme directory in your site and completely purging all caches. This is still not a guarantee that the JS conflict will be resolved. If that happens, temporarily completely disconnect Cloudflare, clear caches again and also deactivate caching in your site. Then, also temporarily deactivate all 3rd-party plugins and check if the issue persists. You can enable things back one by one while monitoring if the issue will persists during each step.
