Standard text box is now "contenteditable" - how do I change this?

Somehow I have a portion of text on a site that is puts a blue box around it when you click it and becomes editable. I went into the source code and found a contenteditable=“true” attribute. How do I get into the source code directly to remove this? Or is there a setting somewhere I accidently clicked that I could unblock within Pro?

Hi @kbistudio,

Thanks for reaching out.
There is no such option available in the Pro, if that is happening, there might be something else. I would suggest you share the exact URL where you are having this problem, along with the login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi @kbistudio,

I have checked and found that the added custom content consists of the HTML tag with the contenteditable attribute, as shown in the given screenshot. I would suggest you remove the attribute and check if that resolves your problem or not.
Please remember that we don’t offer any support for custom content or related issues.

Thanks
