Please, can you confirm that you remain committed to cornerstone - without the use of the X theme.
We currently run a child theme of X - but we are considering moving to our own native theme for performance reasons. We do plan to retain Cornerstone as our page builder.
Is there anything else I should consider?

Thanks for asking. 
Cornerstone that comes bundled with X Theme will work properly with X Theme. Using bundled version of Cornerstone on a different theme will have issues in terms of integration and performance. If you wish to use Cornerstone on a different theme, you need to purchase standalone version of our page builder tool.
