Staging area and Cornerstone

Hi,

I can’t update Cornerstone in my staging area. I’m told there is an update available, but get this message “Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.”

How can I download Cornerstone to update my staging area site, please?

Why is this happening so I can try to stop it happening again, please?

Hi,

Solved the problem - your theme conflicts with Siteground’s SG Optimizer plugin. Any chance you can fix that, please?

(There is no problem with WP Rocket, which does most of the same stuff, but I think the conflict is with the minification options SG offers.)

We’d be glad to fix that issue. Would you mind describing to us how you solved it on your end? Did you just de-activate the SiteGround SG Optimizer plugin? And when you did that, the error message just went away?

Sorry, I updated the wrong support ticket. I’ve given you full details on how to fix the other problem with Siteground in the correct ticket. Hopefully, that will enable you to help other X buyers who use Siteground.

The problem is that every time I create a new staging site, the url changes so I have to validate every site and input the code. The plugin can be updated then, but NOT through the Installed Plugins; it must be through the Updates page, which isn’t such a chore, but it’s a pain to remember.
