Stacks in X theme

Hello I’m new to this and I have downloaded X theme but I can’t seem to customise it and choose the stack I want. Have I not downloaded something? All I get is a black box with a white circle swirling in it! Thanks in advance for any help here!

Thank you for writing in, it seems you installed X and Cornerstone properly. Do you have issue opening the page in Cornerstone? if so, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Yes, your admin login credentials. And if you plan to start from fresh as you described then I recommend re-importing the demo. Please check this https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-demo-content/56. That is if I’m correct about the original front page upon install, it’s because the original page is always a blog listing without a demo.

But before you do that, please allow us to check your site first so we could check what’s the issue with the builder.

Hi Clare,

Thank you for providing the video and the screenshots. You’re following quite an old video tutorial, there are many changes since then. Those are the Theme Options now and you can find it under X > Theme Options in WordPress admin panel.

Hello thanks for your reply. I have also tried the theme options button and I still get the same black box with swirling white circle so I have given up now with x theme as I can’t get anywhere with it unless the theme option button works and it doesn’t.

Thanks for updating the thread.

I can understand the frustration when things are not working as they should. I tried looking at the website and backend but the shared login details is not working. Have you changed the login credentials? I request you to please share the updated login details as I would like to take a closer look at the setup.
